Want to build a teardrop camper but don’t know where to start? You’re in the right place.
A few years ago, when Paige and I built our first camper, we were overwhelmed by contradictory advice, confusing tutorials, and a LOT of trial and error.
But after building 65+ custom off-road campers, we turned everything we learned into a simple, repeatable system.
And that system?
It’s now inside The Builders Network.
You’ll learn:
• The exact step-by-step method behind 65+ builds
• How to waterproof your camper so it NEVER leaks
• How to wire 12V power with confidence
• How to cut, assemble, and finish every part
• What tools and materials actually matter
• How to avoid expensive beginner mistakes
• How to build with expert support behind you
• Beginners are finishing beautiful, watertight campers faster than ever — because they finally have the roadmap.
• This is everything we wish we had on our first build.
Let’s build yours the right way.
— Daniel & Paige

We understand this is a big project. Here are a few questions we get all the time...
A: 100% yes. If you can handle basic power tools like a drill or jigsaw, you can build a camper with our guidance. Our plans were made for regular DIYers, not professional builders. Many of our members built right in their driveway or a small garage — some even in storage units! You don’t need fancy equipment or a big space. We’ll give you a clear tool list and show easy workarounds for anything tricky.
A: Most builders finish in about 3–6 months working part-time on weekends or evenings. Some go-getters complete it in 4–6 weeks using our CNC-cut kit, while others spread it out over 6–12 months as time allows. The best part is that with our plans and roadmap, every hour you spend actually moves you forward — no wasted time figuring things out. And since you get lifetime access, you can build at your own pace.
A: Absolutely. The plans are designed as a strong, proven foundation — but you can make it your own. Many members adjust the length or height, add a second door, tweak the galley layout, or install roof racks and solar panels. We’ll help you understand how to make modifications safely so you don’t compromise structure or balance. The freedom to personalize is one of the best parts of building it yourself.
A: No worries — we offer a 30-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. If you decide it’s not for you, just email us within 30 days and we’ll refund you in full. No hoops, no stress. You’ll know right away if it’s the right fit, and there’s zero risk in giving it a try.
A: We don’t offer in-house payments yet, but you can use PayPal Credit, which gives qualified buyers up to 6 months no interest. Some builders also use a credit card to lock in the launch discount and pay it off gradually. And if you’re on a tighter budget, you can start with the Basic Plan and upgrade later — your progress and access carry over.
A: You’ll get access to live group Q&A calls — these are Q&A sessions where we troubleshoot builds, share progress, and screen-share examples. Can’t make it live? Recordings are always available. You’ll have lifetime access to the private community for questions and updates.
A: Definitely. We have builders all over the world — from Canada and Europe to Australia. The core build methods are the same everywhere. You may need to convert measurements (our plans are in inches) or use local material equivalents, but we’ll help you adjust. The community is global, so you’ll likely meet others in your country who’ve already built one.
A: Each of our models has its own strengths:
Vaga – A slightly larger classic design with extra galley space and storage. More complex build methods but it also has the most in depth training.
Rambler – Simple construction, compact, and lightweight - perfect for beginner DIYers on a budget. Or, if you prefer the squaredrop look over the teardrop shape.
Renegade – Rugged, minimalist, off-road build with a "half hatch" to the galley and simple cabinet system for quick getaways.
Hopper – Our most basic design. It's been put together in a weekend. A 4'x8' squaredrop style. Super lightweight, small and minimal. Beginner friendly.
When you join, you get access to all models, so you can compare layouts and pick what fits your tow vehicle, camping style, and space needs.
A: Once you’ve finished your build, you’re still part of the Wander Tears family. If you're still in the community you'll be in the loop for group camping trips, ambassador opportunities and post-build upgrades and mods. You’ll get ongoing support for maintenance questions, and even tips on selling or renting your camper to earn passive income.
